About your character::
Name:
Ascot
Breed:
Ascot is a kelpie dog.
Age:
7 months.
Gender:
Female
Appearance (2 to 3 paragraphs):
Ascot has indeed inherited the long legs of the rather athletic kelpie. Her agile and yet strong build is one that comes in most dogs of her breed and is often seen in kelpies.
The two colours often seen a lot in kelpies blend together neatly in her coat of strong fur. Black and a beautiful tan colour are accordingly mixed and blended in splotches along her body.
For a dog her fur is rather wirey and thin but then when winter comes around a softer and longer layer of fur grows, that layer keeps her warm and cosy.
And now finally to the shining orbs in her head that people like to call eyes. Her's are a deep sea green, or they are for now anyway. As she gets older they will lighten till eventually they are a very pale green, that colour is almost white that's how pale it is!
Personality (at least 3 paragraphs):
Ascot is everything you expect to find in an energetic dog. She is fun loving, bright and loves to socialize. Her bright smile could brighten anyone's day and her light, flute-like laughter fills the air with a sense of harmony and melody.
But sometimes Ascot can be a little harsh and snappy. She doesn't mean to but it is just something that is there and she can't help! She is good at keeping her cool in rather stressful situations. But nevertheless sometimes even she can become hot headed and angry at times. Although seeing her like this is a rarity in most ways!
This dog thrives to lead as it is what she is best at. All her family have been leaders in one way or another and she hopes to be no exception! The ability to keep her cool in hard or stressful situations, as stated above, can be a bonus when it comes to leading. Generally she is a rather smart canine, unlike how cats say dogs are dumb, this one definitely isn't! Her general knowledge also helps her climb her way to the top of the popularity ladder, something that comes in handy to be a good leader.
History (for 6 month-1 year 1 paragraph, 2 years-3 years 2 1/2 paragraphs, 4+ years 4 paragraphs):
Although Ascot has only been in this world for a few months, seven to be exact, she has grown into a fabulous canine over that time! Her past isn't exactly something she likes to discuss very openly but it is still a very important part to young Ascot's puzzle.
When she was born it appeared as if the world was silent and that she had nowhere to go, or that's how it felt anyway! But in reality Ascot felt like that because her mother, the only thing that had ever cared for her, was dead.
After a few hours Ascot was found by a female dog who had just given birth to her own litter of pups. Of course Ascot was welcomed warmly into the small little family. But seeing as they were golden retrievers Ascot knew that they weren't and never would be her real family. At first this realisation shocked young Ascot, but then she began to get used to it and overcome it.
After a few weeks, when she was old enough to travel, Ascot decided to leave. She just couldn't stand it there anymore as she felt excluded and left out.
